Renhime was a woman who lived during the Sengoku period. Born in 1582, she was the eldest daughter of Matsudaira Yasunao, the ninth head of the Nagasawa-Matsudaira family. Her mother was the daughter of Honda Hirotaka. In the sixth month of 1600, she was adopted by Tokugawa Ieyasu.
Renhime became the formal wife of Arima Toyouji, the first lord of the Kurume domain in the Mii District of Chikugo Province in northern Kyūshū. At this time, she was granted a dowry of 7,000 koku in Chikugo.
Renhime died on 7/21 of Keian 5 (1652) and was buried at the Shōun Temple in Shibuya.
