Takanashi Yoriharu served as a bushō during the Sengoku period.

Yoriharu was born as the son of Takanashi Masayori.

The Takanashi clan was a powerful kokujin in northern Shinano Province.  The Takanashi competed against the neighboring Shinano-Murakami clan for influence, but, after an advance into Shinano by Takeda Harunobu (Shingen) of Kai Province, the clans reconciled and together opposed the Kai-Takeda.  Later, the families memorialized the alliance when Yoritaka wed the daughter of Murakami Yoshikiyo.

In 1555, Yoriharu is believed to have died at the Second Battle of Kawanakajima, but he fought valiantly, inflicting a serious injury on Sanada Yukitsuna.
