Saima Kawachi-no-kami served as a bushō during the Sengoku period. He was a retainer of the Kai-Takeda clan.
His origins and home base are unknown. Kawachi-no-kami served Takeda Harunobu (Shingen). In 1548, he served at the Battle of Uedahara. However, owing to a violent attack by Murakami Yoshikiyo, Kawachi-no-kami, along with Amari Torayasu, Hajikano Denemon, and others was killed in action.
