Mitsuki Naotsuna served as a bushō during the Azuchi-Momoyama and early Edo periods.

Naotsuna was born as the fourth son of Anekōji Yoritsuna, a member of the Anekōji, a sengoku daimyō family in Hida Province.

During the Conquest of Hida, Naotsuna is surmised to have served along with Mitsuki Chikatsuna under the command of Endō Yoshitaka.  He adopted the name of Mori Naotsuna and wed Yoshitaka’s daughter.  Later, Naotsuna served Tokugawa Yoshinao, the founder of the Owari-Tokugawa family and a daimyō in the early Edo period.

Yoshitaka did not have a designated successor so Yoshitaka adopted his grandson (Naotsuna’s second son) to become his heir.  He adopted the name of Endō Yoshitoshi and became the second lord of the Mino-Hachiman domain.
