Honda Shigeharu served as a bushō during the Sengoku period. He was the younger brother of Honda Shigetsugu, a retainer of Tokugawa Ieyasu. His common name was Kuzō.
Shigeharu was born as the fourth son of Honda Shigemasa and served Matsudaira Motoyasu (later known as Tokugawa Ieyasu). Shigeharu was killed in action during the Siege of Terabe Castle. He was seventeen years old. An oblong tombstone fpr Shigeharu with a two-layer foundation stands at the Aoyagi-Hongan Temple in the village of Ino in the city of Toride in Ibaraki Prefecture.
