Yada Sakujūrō served as a bushō during the Sengoku period.
Sakujūrō served two generations of the Matsudaira clan – Matsudaira Hirotada and Matsudaira Motoyasu (later known as Tokugawa Ieyasu) in Mikawa Province. Along with Kakei Masashige and Hachiya Sadatsugu, he was known as a fierce warrior. In 1563, Sakujūrō served as a commander of ikki forces opposing Ieyasu during the Mikawa Ikkō-ikki. On 11/25 of the same year, he was killed in action at Azukizaka in the Nukata District of Mikawa.
